The range is designed to offer predictable performance, processing consistency, and application flexibility for modern orthopaedic and footwear production environments.
2 Durafit Evium
Samples inside the Experience box:
Durafit® Evium is an advanced version of Durafit Microfibers featuring a special ceramic surface coating developed for highperformance applications. The technology was originally inspired by materials used in outdoor activities and extreme sports, where durability, grip and stability are essential.
By combining the comfort and breathability of Durafit microfiber with a technical ceramic surface structure, Durafit Evium provides enhanced performance in demanding orthotic environments. The Durafit Evium pattern and surface technology integrates a technical channel structure that works together with the microfiber substrate.
Key characteristics include:
• Improved moisture distribution
• Faster drying performance
• Increased grip and stability
• High abrasion resistance
• Technical ceramic coating
3 Durafit Hybrids™ Combined Material Solutions

- Durafit Black Semi-Perforated + EchoCel High Rebound 3,2 mm Spring Green
- Durafit Blue Semi-Perforated + Poron XRD 2,0 mm Yellow
Durafit Hybrids™ combine multiple material technologies into a single engineered structure. By integrating EchoCel® and Poron performance foams with Durafit® microfiber top covers, the hybrid range creates ready-to-process material systems with optimized bonding performance and functional layering.
Key characteristics include:
• Integrated multilayer constructions
• High bonding stability
• Consistent lamination quality
• Optimized thickness tolerances
• Enhanced comfort performance
• Reduced processing steps
• Improved production efficiency
• Combination of cushioning and surface comfort
The hybrid construction allows different functional layers to work together as one optimized system.
Application Possibilities
EchoCel Hybrids™ are developed for:
• Premium orthotic top cover systems
• Ready-to-process insole constructions
• Diabetic comfort solutions
• Sports orthoses
• Prosthetic comfort interfaces
• High-volume production environments
• 3D printed orthotic finishing systems
The integrated construction helps simplify production while maintaining premium material performance.
Philosophy Behind the Innovation
The philosophy behind Durafit Hybrids™ is based on intelligent material integration. Instead of treating every material layer separately, the hybrid concept approaches comfort, durability, and production efficiency as one connected engineering challenge.
The result is a solution that reduces complexity while enhancing overall product performance and consistency.
4 Duralite® Composites Technologies
Samples inside the Experience box:
- Duralite Hyperform 1,10 mm
Duralite® composite technologies are engineered to provide lightweight structural reinforcement with high rigidity and excellent mechanical performance. The range includes advanced composite constructions based on carbon and reinforcement fabrics.
Key characteristics include:
• High stiffness-to-weight ratio
• Excellent torsional stability
• Low weight construction
• Thermoplastic processability
• High fiber content
• Controlled flexibility options
• Excellent shape retention
• Easy cutting and finishing possibilities
Duralite Hyperform® introduces low-temperature processing capabilities, allowing composite reinforcement to be shaped and adapted at a significantly lower temperature of 70-80 degrees compared to traditional composite systems.
Application Possibilities
Duralite® technologies are used in:
• Carbon foot orthoses
• Reinforcement elements
• Dynamic AFO constructions
• Prosthetic reinforcement systems
• Orthopedic footwear stabilizers
• Performance sports orthotics
• Lightweight structural support applications
The materials can also be combined with thermoplastic elastomeric systems to create multifunctional constructions.
Philosophy Behind the Innovation
Duralite® was developed around the principle that reinforcement materials should enhance freedom of movement rather than restrict it. The focus lies in achieving maximum mechanical efficiency with minimal weight and material thickness.
The innovation philosophy combines advanced structural engineering with practical processability for modern orthopaedic manufacturing.
